Top 10 Bon Jovi songs

Jersey boys
After their omission from last week’s Hair Metal list (HERE), I decide to give Jovi a Top 10 of their own. They’re one of those bands that have had so many albums that it’s hard to choose, especially as a lot of their singles are not their best tunes. I tried to keep it mixed and in no particular order...
BON JOVI SONGS
Livin’ on a Prayer – Slippery When Wet
The definitive Jovi anthem and the song that shot them into stardom. It’s probably one the very best pop-rock song ever written.
Blaze of Glory – Blaze of Glory (Jon Bon Jovi)
Not strictly a Bon Jovi song, but I’m bringing it in anyway – beside they even included it on their Cross Road album. Absolute classic from the great 80s movie Young Guns II (Young Guns post).
Wanted: Dead or Alive – Slippery When Wet
The song that inspired Blaze and Richie Sambora’s best ever guitar solo. My brother and the singer from his band have been doing a killer cover of this for more than 10 years.
Always – Cross Road
I remember when this first came out man; every girl I knew was listening to it. It was their biggest selling single. Even though his devout fans try to argue it, his voice is long gone and Jon eventually admitted it himself when he acknowledged the reason they’ve hardly played the song live in over 10 years is because he can’t.
It’s My Life – Crush
Five years after their last album, the guys came out with this gem and still somehow managed to package that inspiring Jovi kick with a modern edge. I remember hearing it for the first time and thinking it was great to hear some real rock again.
Keep the Faith – Keep the Faith
I still remember clearly when this came out. It was like when KISS got unmasked. Most of the 80s rock bands were dying, then all of a sudden Bon Jovi came walking down the street with short hair and a new sound. The rest is history.
Runaway – Bon Jovi
Jon actually recorded this song with a bunch of other dudes (including Snake Sabo from Skid Row) and it ended up being their first single. Great, underrated tune.
Bad Medicine – New Jersey
I remember me and Bobby Finstock getting up at like 6am to watch this and Rocket by Def Leppard on Rage.
Price of Love – 7800o Fahrenheit
If I don’t give this album any love, no one will. It was probably their try at hair metal and has been disowned by the band ever since – but it’s actually a cool little album.
Dry County – Keep the Faith
Every band needs an epic and this is there’s. It never really got much attention, but has long been a fan favourite. Some of their best lyrics too.
Other notable mentions:
You Give Love a Bad Name, Lay Your Hands on Me, In and Out of Love, Bed of Roses, One Wild Night, Raise Your Hands, Let it Rock, Blood on Blood, (You Want To) Make A Memory,In These Arms, These Days, Something for the Pain, I'll Sleep When I'm Dead, Tokyo Road, Roulette, Shot Through the Heart, I’ll Be there for You
"Tommy used to work on the docks, unions been on strike, hes down on his luck...its tough, so tough."

I agree, I think some of their best songs aren't the singles.
Shot Through the Heart - Bon Jovi
Hardest Part of the Night - 7800 Fahrenheit
Little Bit of Soul - Keep the Faith
Right Side of Wrong - Bounce
....just to name a few.
Even if you're not a Bon Jovi fan, these songs just get into your head.
Love & stuff

Samaritan's Stories
My favourite songs tend to change all the time. But the best one ever is Hey God! I love it because it really touched on the problems that people have with God. Other ones I love are Born to be my baby, Welcome to wherever you are, Something for the pain, The Distance, Living on a prayer. Ooh, there's too many. I'll end up listing them all.
